Who are Dave and Al? might give you some background information
about us. Read "The Early Years" or "The Plot Thickens",
though bear in mind that not all of the material on this site is strictly non-fiction.
For some time, in the lull that comes between sleep and jet-lag, Dave and Al have been writing
technical articles for other Web sites. The topics range across the whole spectrum of ASP and
ASP.NET, data management, XML, application design and architecture, accessibility, and more.
Many of these articles are available only to subscribers of other Web sites, but in response
to requests from visitors an Articles Archive has
been established to provide access - where possible - to the articles and the code samples.
Al is a great believer in the power of suggestion. He's always asking
people to suggest where he might have left things. In Al's shed,
most of the cardboard boxes are marked 'Spiders', and the rest are marked 'Big Spiders'.
Everything else seems to find a home buried underneath a pile of garden tools and other
unidentifiable things.
Dave, on the other hand, is a one of those organized and tidy people, where everything has a place and there's a
place for everything. In fact, in Dave's spare room
all the stuff is neatly filed away in a big cardboard box marked 'Stuff'.
Well, in one of the boxes marked 'Stuff'. Well, most of the time, anyway.
Finally, we also provide usage information for our site.
You can check out the number of visitors, traffic pattern, and client information breakdowns.
